JUAN DIEGO FLÓREZ – HUNGARIAN STATE OPERA ORCHESTRA

October 25 2018

East meets West in a fabulous operatic concert as world-famous Peruvian tenor, Juan Diego Flórez appears with the rising star, Egyptian soprano, Fatma Said and the renowned Hungarian State Opera Orchestra conducted by Guillermo García Calvo. Flórez made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 2002 with return engagements that included Tonio in Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment, when, like Pavarotti before him, Flórez famously thrilled audiences by reaching nine successive high C’s in the aria, Ah! Mes Amis. In 2013, Fatma Said won a scholarship to study at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and has the distinction of performing at the illustrious Teatro alla Scala. Chosen as one of BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists in 2016, Fatma’s star continues to rise.
